Anson! Your blogs are always so good. I really like this one and I like the way you explain the question of how what we teach relates to positionally. I agree that deceptively simple topics can be great teaching tools about how some questions pop up in regard to unexpected objects. Millie and Lila would like you to know that whether or not you tell folks that you have a dog yourself, you can let them know that you have some very good friends who are dogs. They were very adamant about it.
